This newly designed insulation displacement board-in connector features twin slots provided at the insulation displacement section. This is the most important section of the insulation displacement connector contact, and has an insulation barrel located between the twin slots. The insulation barrel firmly grips and secures the wire during insulation displacement connection to protect the insulation displacement section from possible damage. Due to significant increases in connection reliability, insulation displacement connection has become possible with this 1.5mm (.059") pitch board-in connector. Compact, direct mounting 1.5mm (.059") pitch insulation displacement board-in connector This is the first 1.5mm (.059") pitch insulation displacement board-in connector in the world. It is compact, with a mounting height of only 4.3mm (.169") and a thickness of 3.0mm (.118") Twin-slot insulation displacement section The insulation displacement section has tin-plated twin contact slots to ensure a highly reliable connection. Insulation barrel construction The insulation barrel located between the twin slots firmly grips the wire and protects it from movements due to the heat of soldering or due to handling right after soldering. 3-point grip construction The wire is firmly held by a strain relief and a 3-point insulation grip.
