A more sustainable company policy based on ISO 14001 and the SDG's
At A&C Solutions we also like to contribute to a more sustainable environment. Starting with ourselves.
ISO 14001
In 2022 we have taken the first steps to obtain the ISO 14001 environmental certificate in addition to our ISO 9001 quality certificate.
As a team, we are committed to making progress in the following areas:
- Create awareness within the team & our suppliers
- Reuse our packaging
- Reduce the use of gas & electricity
- Reduce our waste
- Sort our waste better
- Switching to more sustainable alternatives where possible
VCDO Charter
A&C Solutions has also joined Voka's VCDO Charter as a participant. The VCDO Charter supports companies in translating the 17 sustainability goals of the United Nations (the SDGs) into an action plan on an ecological, sociological and economic level.
Our action plan for the coming year will focus on:
- Well-being and health of our employees by obtaining the title of Sports Company of Sport Vlaanderen
- Raising awareness of our suppliers about the environment in collaboration with the German online platform Sustainabill
- Digitization of our systems
These are ambitious plans and we are keen as a team to realize them and make our contribution to a better environment. To be continued!
