Characteristics differ between variants of a connector
JST introduces the RARSF (RAST) connector, a right angle RAST 5 connector system designed for home appliances. This RAST 5 system consists of a combination of terminal and housing, which provides easy mating to a standard male tab direct to the pcb.
The right angle design of the RARSF connector allows ease of harness routing in tight places, and the locking mechanism prevents accidental disengagement of the contact from the mating tab.
Standard and custom key options are available upon request and a range of coloured covers are available which assist in the assembly process when using multiple connectors on the same harness.
The RARSF connectors are suitable for a wire range of 18 to 14 AWG, with a current rating of 15A, and available in 1 to 12 circuits.
