Characteristics differ between variants of a connector
JST introduces a new reverse mounting type Micro SD Card connector, the SDHR connector, to its broad range of SD card connectors.
With push-push style for easy and smooth card insertion and extraction, this connector offers a low profile mounting height of only 1.45mm and features a detection switch that detects whether or not a memory card is currently inserted, it also features a wiping function that ensures a good electrical contact.
The Micro SD is currently the worlds smallest memory card storage system, designed for storing media files for small compact devices e.g. mobile phones.
