Techno xDRY® technology
Temperature and pressure fluctuations can cause moisture to enter a connector through the cable and create condensation. This can compromise the reliability of outdoor installations.
Protection from the inside and outside
The xDRY® technology uses a special anti-condensation layer to prevent moisture from entering through the cable by capillary action. This keeps the electrical contacts protected according to IP66, IP68 and IP69K – from both the inside and outside.
This reduces moisture-related failures, resulting in greater operational reliability, less maintenance and a longer service life.
xDRY® connectors are available as plug-and-socket connectors, inline cable joiners and panel-mount solutions for a wide range of installation requirements.
